What is HALO® Laser Treatment?

The HALO® laser treatment uses a combination of wavelengths to help rejuvenate and restore your skin. The ablative laser targets the second layer of your skin beneath the surface and creates small injuries that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. By jumpstarting the healing process, it helps remove skin issues like deep sun damage and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

The non-ablative laser targets the top layer of skin and creates microscopic pathways to the targeted area to promote glowing skin & reduce pigmentation.

This hybrid of lasers causes the old skin to come to the surface and peel away just a few days after the treatment is complete. Meanwhile, your skin below the surface continues to heal and rejuvenate, and you will see your skin texture improve and see a more youthful appearance, which can continue to progress for up to six months.

What is the Sciton Laser?

The Sciton Laser is the top-of-the-line laser machine that enables lighter treatments, such as BBL & the HALO® Laser Treatment, which is a great resurfacing treatment. This new machine allows patients to see results in 1-2 treatments, compared to the older version that could take 5-6 treatments for the best results. This machine helps treat:

  • Discoloration
  • Sun damage
  • Aging
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Enlarged pores
  • Poor texture
  • Fine lines
  • Scar revision

What is the Difference Between Ablative Laser & Non-Ablative Laser?

An ablative laser superficially injures the skin to trigger your body’s healing process. It is an intense treatment with a bit more downtime than a normal laser treatment. This combination laser treatment produces amazing results with only one treatment, but a series of treatments is best.

A non-ablative laser is gentle and non-invasive as it does not break the skin. A non-ablative laser is great for lighter skin imperfections, and for best results, multiple treatments are recommended.

Combining My HALO® Laser Treatment with Other Treatments

You can combine HALO® laser treatment with some of our other treatments to improve your skin’s tone, texture, hydration, or signs of aging, helping you get more complete and lasting results.

HALO®  helps with texture, fine lines, acne scars, and collagen production, while BBL Laser focuses on pigmentation, sun damage, redness, and uneven skin tone. Using both treatments can give you brighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin with fewer visible imperfections.
